The day will focus on: leadership skills and development, interactive participation,
problem-solving techniques, values and principles in leadership
Community Service Day (December 3, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Day Chairs: Steve Smith and Penny Patterson
- Visit the Williamson Medical Center, including the Emervency Medical Service
- Participate in the Meals on Wheels program
- Explore the wonderful services of Mercy Children's Clinic
- Visit the Williamson County Community Service Building and the agencies indise.
Government Day (January 7, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Day Chairs: Anna Shuford and Betsy Adgent
- Tour government service agencies, including the police department, fire department and juvenile court
- Meet with Franklin and Williamson County government officials, including the mayor, county
executive, chief administrator, fire chief, police chief and staff
Criminal Justice Day (February 4, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Day Chairs: Chas Morton and Terry Cozart
- Explore the justice system from all aspects, including visiting the County Justice Center and courtrooms
Business Day (March 4, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Day Chairs: Chip Higgins and Julian L. Bibb, IV
- Connecting participants with local business owners
- Providing participants the opportunity to learn more about local business in the community
- Expose participants to various career opportunities within the community
Heritage Day (April 1, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Day Chair: Bryan Echols
- An enlightening perspective on reasons why Williamson County and Franklin are such historically
significant areas
- Hear from some of the most interesting historians in Franklin and Williamson County
Graduation Banquet (April 26, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
Day Chair: Steve Smith
-Participants and parents are invited to graudation exercises to hear inspiring speakers and
receive recognition for their participation.
