OPENING RETREAT

A great kick-off for the year! Participants will get to know and trust each other in a fun atmosphere. The retreat culminates with an evening bonfire and leadership discussion.

COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY

Participants will have an opportunity to experience and learn about several organizations and programs that contribute to our community’s exceptional quality of life.

 

  • Visit the Williamson Medical Center, including the Emergency Medical Service

  • Participate in the Meals on Wheels program

  • Explore the wonderful services of Mercy Community Healthcare

  • Visit Community Service Agencies

Wednesday, January 8, 2020

GOVERNMENT DAY

Participants will look at how our community is governed and explore some of our city and county agencies.

  • Tour government service agencies including the police department, fire department and juvenile court
  • Meet with Franklin and Williamson county government officials including the city and county mayors, city administrator, fire chief, and staff

CRIMINAL JUSTICE DAY

Participants will explore the Justice system, including visiting the County Criminal Justice Center and related Courtrooms.Day Chairs:  Blake Lambert & Chas Morton

BUSINESS DAY

Participants will meet with members of the business community in Franklin and Williamson County.

 

  • Provide participants the opportunity to learn more about local business in the Franklin community.

  • Expose participants to various career opportunities within our community.

HERITAGE DAY

Participants will explore the history that helped create such an enriched heritage for Franklin and Williamson County.  

  • An enlightening perspective on reasons why Franklin and Williamson County is such an historically significant area.
  • Hear from some of the most interesting historians in Franklin and Williamson County.

GRADUATION

Participants and parents are required to attend graduation exercises where you will hear an inspiring speaker and receive recognition for participation.
